







The goal of this project was to create an escape from urban density within the city of Denver by developing a mixed use village along the South Platte River located in the southern part of the city. Along the Platte this project created a riverwalk for people to interact with the currently neglected open spaces while also developing a friendly, mixed use community.

This series of site plans displays the phase planning intended to happen regarding this project. As this new community continues to thrive, more open space will be utilized and converted from dead space into unique ecologies for human and wildlife habitation. This is all rooted from the bridge-walk core of the South Platte community.

This would be a South Platte community members' backyard. Descend down from the apartment style living to find a thriving boardwalk along the river lined with shops and restaurants integrated into wildlife ecologies of the river.

With the sunset leaking through the Denver skyline, this community can also be a peaceful escape from the bustling roadways. With no vehicular traffic, the South Platte development can allow for a retreat not so far from the energy of the city

The illuminated riverwalk enveloped between the South Platte community provides a safe opportunity to enjoy the outdoors even after dark.
